About
This course is a study of women throughout Scripture and the unique roles, responsibilities, and examples God has given them. Students will examine the woman in creation, the fall, redemption, marriage, motherhood, Christian service, and spiritual growth. Through expository studies and the lives of women such as Eve, Hannah, Ruth, Jochebed, Deborah, Mary, Lydia, Priscilla, and others, students will discover biblical principles that apply to women in every season of life. Special attention is given to the biblical roles of wives, mothers, older and younger women, and the virtuous woman. The course also includes practical studies on the husband-wife relationship through Ephesians 5 and 1 Peter 3. While the course focuses on women in Scripture, it is designed to be beneficial for both men and women as they grow in their understanding of God’s plan for the home, family, and Christian life.
