About
Prayer is more than simply bringing our requests to God; it is an essential part of our walk with Him and a vital part of spiritual growth and revival. In this course, students will explore the biblical principles of prayer and learn how a deeper prayer life can impact the individual, the church, and the community. Using Prayer for Revival by Benny Beckum, we will examine the importance of prayer, the biblical foundation for revival, and the role God’s people play in seeking Him through fervent, effectual prayer. Students will be challenged to develop a stronger personal prayer life and to understand the power of prayer. This course is designed to move prayer from simply being something we talk about to something we actively practice. "O that believers would present their bodies a living sacrifice, drench it repeatedly with the water of His word, extinguishing all the false fire of fleshly lusts, and then, in fervent, effectual prayer, call upon God to receive the sacrifice, indeed, to consume it in the fire of revival." - Excerpt from Chapter 5
